Good afternoon,

Just to provide a brief update on the reinstatement works on the field.  Due to the wet weather this month, our seeding has been delayed.

We are now planning this work over next few weeks.  The area will be monitored to ensure the seed will take.  If there are any issues will return in the Spring.

Good afternoon,

We have spoken to the site team who have confirmed that the works on the junction of Yetholme and Johnson Street will be open by 6pm on Friday.

The reinstatement with high quality topsoil in the field, by the football pitches, will continue until the end of October.  The quality of the topsoil used will improve the quality of pitch condition.  Once the area has been seeded, it will be fenced off to the public until grass is established.

As stated in previous posts, our team will have be on site over the next few weeks carrying out snagging works to the areas we have worked.

We will continue to update this portal with updates when necessary.

Thank you

Good morning,

As promised, this post is an update of our progress of the works at Johnson Street / Yetholme.   We stated last week that we were hoping to have finished this work by tomorrow end of play.  However, due to the tide and high levels, this will not be possible.  The site team are now aiming for next Friday.

I will update all our customers via the portal next Wednesday, as to whether we are able to complete in this time scale.

Our site team will also be working on Saturday within the site area (field). A further crew will need to enter the chamber on the junction of Johnson Street / Yetholme to carry out a few checks, this will only take a couple of hours.  Our work will start after 9am and expect to be finished by 4pm.

Once again, we apologise for the inconvenience and thank you all for your continued patience.  Please feel free to contact me to discuss our works.

Good afternoon,

We have been provided with an update from our site team.

As you will be aware we were hoping to remove all the traffic management in the area on the 10 September 2021, please see our update below.  .

Derwentwater Road/Abbeyfield - This work will be completed tomorrow and the road/junction reopened by 6pm, 10 September 2021

Johnson Street - The closure on the junction of Johnson Street and Yetholm, has been extended by one week due to Covid delays.  Our health and safety team have assessed to check whether we could continue the work on 2 way lights, however this has been deemed unsafe.  We now expect this section of road to be opened again on the 17 September 2021 by 6pm.

We will keep our customers informed via the portal.  We do want to thank you all for your continued patience and understanding whilst we complete this works.

Good afternoon,

Just a quick update to let our customers know that the traffic management on Johnson Street and at the junction of Abbeyfield will be removed on the 10 September 2021.

Once this is removed, we will start to leave the area.  We hope to be demobilised by the 31 September 2021, although we may still be visible as our team will be carrying out reinstatement works in the area.

We will keep you updated with our progress in the meantime.

Enjoy the bank holiday.
