Northumbrian Water is looking to improve the resilience and enhance the performance of the sewer network in the Willington catchment. We are proposing the construction of a new sewer overflow at the rear of Marina View, this work will be undertaken within the fenced off compound with site access taken from Rosehill Road. We will also be increasing the size of short sections of the existing sewer within Rosehill Road.

Hi Everyone
I was on site this morning and got caught in a torrential downpour! I was drenched! Once I dried myself off I spoke to the site team about our progress on site. We continue to make good progress with the CSO(Combined Sewer Overflow) and associated drainage. The traffic lights will remain in place for now but will be removed and the road reinstated before Christmas.
I'll remember my umbrella next time I visit!
