Good afternoon,

It’s been a little while since I last provided you with an update so wanted to bring you all up to date with our progress on site.

Last week, work on installing the rising main within the carriageway over the railway bridge was challenging due to the numerous services within close proximity to where the pipework needed to be installed. The site team worked hard to overcome this and the pipework within this section has now been completed.

Following this you will have noticed that the traffic lights have been relocated further South along the carriageway which has resulted in the junction of Rogerson Terrace being closed off whilst we work across this section. We expect this junction to be closed for a period of 2 weeks. Please follow the diversion via Cross Street to access the rear of properties whilst this junction is closed off.

Work within the pumping station has continued this week with numerous operations taking place. Drainage, ducts and bases have been installed within the valve chamber in preparation for the mechanical fittings for the pumps to be installed within the coming weeks.

If you have any queries regarding our works, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Thank you

Good morning all,

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

I just wanted to provide you all with a brief update on how things have been going on site over the past week.

There have been additional crews working within the A167 carriageway as you cross the railway bridge. They have continued to install the pipework for the rising main and have started to reinstate this section which will continue across the course of this week.

We are experiencing groundwater within the area of the pumping station, however the team continue to progress well despite the conditions and are working towards the shaft being complete, sealed and dry by the end of this week.

If you have any questions regarding our work, please get in touch to discuss further.

Have a lovely week!

Thank you

Good afternoon all,

Just a quick update for you from the site team regarding our progress for this week.

The installation of the rising main within the carriageway of the A167 has continued. The section adjacent to Johnson Terrace is progressing well and we foresee the junction of Cross Street to be reopened by the end of next week. The section further North is taking longer than initially anticipated due to poor ground conditions and unchartered services within our working areas. Work on both sections will continue into next week.

We are now down to the base level within the Pumping Station and the concrete base will be poured over the coming days. Following this, ring sections will be installed to bring it up to ground level.

If you have any queries at all, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Thank you

Good afternoon all,

Work is progressing well within the carriageway on the A167 and you will have noticed we are now working adjacent to Johnson Terrace.

From Monday 7th February the traffic lights and rolling lane closure will be relocated further south towards Cross Street junction.

Works in this location are expected to be completed within the 3 weeks. During this time, access into Cross Street will not be possible via the A167. Please follow the diversion via Rogerson Terrace to access the rear of properties.

If you have any queries regarding this section of work, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you

Good morning,

As of today the traffic management will be altered on the A167.  We will change from 3 way lights to 2 ways lights, past the Hett Lane junction.  A traffic light head will be just South of the junction and the other will be on the south side of the railway bridge next to the bus stop.  Customers directly impacted by this work have been contacted.
