Project updates

Update by Sarah Jayne Parvin

Good afternoon hope you are well.

The resurfacing work on Linden Avenue went ahead as planned on the 22/23rd October.

Work is progressing well on site and we are planning on removing the 13t excavator via the gates at Linden Ave. the excavator needs to exit via Linden Avenue, which is planned for tomorrow 18th November. Once this is out then we can continue with replacing the gates with palisade fencing, this will start the following day 19th November.

Over the next few weeks, we will be removing the cabins off site, these will exit via West Road entrance, following that we have reinstatement work on site to finish before we are complete and demobilise.

We would like to thank you for your continued patience and understanding while we carry out these essential works.

If you have any questions or feedback, please get in touch at Sarahjayne.parvin@JNBentley.co.uk or use the contact us link at the top of this page,

Thanks

Good afternoon All, hope you are enjoying the amazing weather we have this week!

Another brief update to advise work is progressing as expected and we are happy to say Fenham West Tank is back in supply, providing you and your family with clean, clear water that tastes good.

Over the coming weeks we are doing the finishing touches and returning the site and its surroundings as they were before we carried out the work. This means over the next week or so you will see an increase  in activity while we build the wall, which was removed to allow access to the site, will be getting rebuilt, as will the palisade fencing at the current site entrance at Linden Avenue.

We have resurfacing work to complete on Linden Avenue, we do not have an exact date for this but will be in touch with the affected residents nearer the time.

I would like to thank you for your continued patience and understanding while we carry out these essential works, and as always please don’t hesitate to get in touch at SarahJayne.Vickers@JNBentley.co.uk or alternatively us the contact us link at the top of this page.

Thank you.

Update by Sarah Jayne Parvin

Good afternoon, our latest update in October suggested we were expecting to remain on site until the end of November and demobilise the site for approximately 6 months, with an expectation to return in late spring to complete earth works and final tidying up.

These timescales have moved, and we can confirm that we will not be demobilising prior to Christmas as we still have some works to complete which are dependent on weather conditions. Once this work has been complete, we expect to leave end of January and return 6 months after our departure to construct some earth embankments and do some final tidying up. This may take up to three months to complete and will involve a significant number of vehicle movements. We will write to you again nearer the time to give you further information about our plans.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding while we have been carrying out our work and would like to wish you a peaceful Christmas and New Year.

Thanks

Sarah
