Hi

Its getting a little congested at the junction of Park Parade and Roker Baths Road! As well as our work, there's also some gas work going on and will be there for a few days. Take care while the works are on going

Hi Everyone

Tomorrow(Wednesday 25th)), we are expecting a concrete delivery at St Peter's. We will need to use it when we get it to avoid it going off, so work will start at 6.00am and continue until all the concrete is poured. It is anticipated that this should be finished by about 6.00pm but may overrun. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause and rest assured we will do all we can to minimise any disruption.

Hi All,

Just a quick update regarding works which are currently on going in St George'sTerr & Park Parade. Our two way lights will be relocated at around 9-00 am tomorrow morning (Tuesday 24/01/17). The location will be approximately outside number 23 Park Parade up to the junction with Roker Baths Road.

Residents directly involved have already received letters with more information.

If residents affected could move their cars in preparation, that would be great. This will not only speed up the construction process but also make areas safer for all users.

Thanks for your time

Roses Dig - Roker Park

Hi all

Today volunteers from CEED in partnership with Northmbrian Water and Esh-MWH held a Roses Dig in Roker Park where there was an open invitation for  people to come and rescue a rosh bush before we move in and dig them all up. A lot of time and effort has gone in over the years to maintain this area and many of the bushes hold sentimental value. There was a good turn out and people seemed happy to be taking flowers to put in their own gardens.

I've attached a few pictures from this morning.

Enjoy your weekend

Hi all,

A quick update for you as follows;-

Since returning from our Christmas holidays we have continued on with the construction of the Attenuation Tank at Ocean Park, we had this week two crane operations to install the remainder of the internal wall units, and roof slabs.

Today we are carrying out a concrete pump pour to the last third of the tank, works shall continue into next week.

(See attached video earlier this week, which was the work described leading up to the concrete pour today)

Similarly work has continued at Boldon Flats, where we are now in the process of installing the final stages of the new drainage network across the highway at the junction of Moor Lane and West Meadows adjacent to The Bungalow.(See attached Photos) once again work will continue into week.

Also next week we intend to commence Phase 2  Morrison's drainage works, where we are going to excavate and install a new drainage network from the grassed area at Cut Throat Dene which will then extend up the highway on Lowry Road and then into the existing Local Authority car park, the highway drainage works will be carried out with the use of three and two way traffic light control, we shall keep you posted next week as the work commences and progresses.

Have a lovely weekend

Steve.

St Peters

Hi everyone

Just a little note to inform you that we are planning on working at our St Peter's site this weekend. It is steel fixings work so won't involve digging or vibrating. The lads on site will be working between 08.00 and 16.00 on Saturday and 09:00 and 15.00 on Sunday. If this causes any problems or concerns, please contact the site team or me direct and we will be happy to discuss your concerns.

Have a great weekend!

Hello everyone

As you may know we will soon be working in Roker Park. This will involve working in the Sensory Garden area, digging it up and relandscaping it. I know that a lot of people have taken time and effort to maintain this garden and Northumbrian Water and Sunderland City Council want to give the local community the chance to come down and take home a rose bush. We will be hosting open sessions on Friday 20 January 2017 at 10:00-11:30 and 12:30-14:00 so please feel free to come along to the Sensory Garden and join us and re-home some of the roses in the garden. I have attached a copy of the information letter for your reference, just click on the link below.

Hope to see you on friday

Hi everyone

Just a quick note to remind you of the work we start on Monday. I have informed the residents directly affected via letters that I delivered this week. Work on Park Parade progresses further along towards St Georges Terrace - this is the last bit on Park Parade so we shouldn't be too much longer. Work also starts in Benedict Road where the road will be closed from the junction with Park Parade to St Andrew's Terrace. We will do all we can to ensure that disruption is to a minimum and we thank you for your continued patience while we carry out this work.

Have a great weekend

Hi all,

Hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year from the site team.

Following our return from the Christmas holidays, we have this week continued on with internal benching works to the Attenuation Tank at Ocean Park.

Next week Monday and Tuesday we have the last two remaining crane lifting operations for the Tank which will consist of installing the remainder of the internal pre cast concrete walls followed by the installation of the remainder of the pre cast roof slabs.

Across at Boldon flats we have completed the last manhole chamber to the new drainage network within the Farmers field

Monday next week we are to commence the first of our two road crossings, the first being adjacent to The Bungalow across into West Meadows, we shall be installing 3 way traffic lights at the junction to enable us to carry out these works.

Apologies for no photos this week, as nothing has changed much from my previous post before the Christmas break, will Endeavour to upload some pictures next week.

Hope you all have a good weekend.

Steve.
