Hello everyone

Good to see the early morning sun rises again. Can't believe we have been on site 10 months now. Made really good progress this week. The chemical off load area at Ramshaw has just been poured ahead of the chemical dosing delivery's in a few weeks' time. Footpaths to areas are starting to take good shape. All our contractors are working really well together to keep the schedule going. Please take care when driving near the Sewage works as we still have quite a bit of traffic leaving the sites at times.

Hello everyone

We have had a busy period over the last few weeks keeping everything in check to maintain the programme. The good news is that we are still on track to complete on time. Our civils department are really busy starting to close down areas. Installing footpaths and starting to put the landscaping back. Our Electrical contractor are now starting to make areas live to allow our Commissioning engineers to start bringing things on line. I will upload some new photos showing the progress over the next few weeks. Enjoy your weekend.

Just to give you an update on progress. We are still on programme to be completed in November. Our commissioning engineer is on site full time now and busy preparing plans ahead to allow the team to start bringing items of the new kit on line. Our civils contractor are still working hard to start completing areas to avoid delaying the trades ahead.

Thanks for the legacy suggestions that have been coming through since the update letter was sent out. We will let you know soon what our plans are going to be over the next few weeks.

Hi everyone

We have successfully installed the mechanical building and power panel this week at Ramshaw. That’s the last of the big delivery’s for Ramshaw.

At Butterknowle next week we have a similar delivery due. I am confident it will not disrupt things too much however please be careful when driving past on Wednesday.

We are now in the final stages of the civils install at Cockfield. Commissioning is about to start there.

All are doing a great job to ensure we are still on programme.

On Tuesday 25th June we have a crane and delivery wagon accessing the Sewage works at Ramshaw to install the new electrical building. We would really appreciate your help to keep the main road clear on this day to avoid any access issues. We will be avoiding school drop off and colllection times on this day.

HI everyone

We are 80% way through the civil engineering part of the build. Cockfield is almost ready to accept the new inlet works. Chemical dosing installation has commenced at Ramshaw and is all going well. At Butterknowle we have been busy getting the foundation ready for the electric kiosk. Please take care when driving near the sites as we still have on going delivery's. Enjoy the weekend.

Construction activities are now at the peak on the 3 sites and the teams are doing a fantastic job !

At Ramshaw and Butterknowle we are busy completing the new storm tanks and electrical building foundations. Duct work at Cockfield is nearly complete to allow the electrical experts to follow on.

Considering the rain we have had this week we have still managed to push on. All went well getting the heavy plant into Butterknowle Sewage Treatment Works.  Fencing is now back in place and reinstated.

We are constructing the new storm tanks at both Ramshaw and Butterknowle. In addition we are getting ready for the electrical equipment and kiosk to arrive at Cockfield.

If you have passed the sewage works recently you will have noticed some big changes. A lot of the main items of kit have now been installed. We have the last of the cleaning plants being delivered on Wednesday 8th May. This will be at Butterknowle stw. To allow the plant to get in we need to remove the gate from the highway for a short period of time. There will be a temporary gate in place during the install. Please keep the gate closed when walking along the fell and take care.

Thanks for your patience and assistance to allow the plant to be installed at Ramshaw this week. It was a tight squeeze in areas to get the crane and transport in but it all went very well. In addition we have now installed the new chemical tanks to the 3 sites
