Hello everyone

As you can see from the attached photos we are well through the installation of our civil construction work now. Just getting ready for the next step; installation of the cleaning plant and chemical dosing plants.

Cockfield is the first port of call you will see a lot of work happening there from next week 8th April 2019.

Over the next few weeks you will start to see Ramshaw and Butterknowle also getting busier, as always please take care when driving near the sites and look out for site traffic.

Hi Everyone

Considering the rain showers we have had this week our sub contractors Meldrum Construction are still making really good progress.

Structures are all on programme. We are in talks with the next sub contractors to follow on to ensure that deliveries are managed well to avoid any disruption. We will let you know closer to the time.

We are expecting to remove a cabin at Ramshaw stw during week commencing 18th March 2019

Some photos attached show this weeks progress.

Hope you have a good weekend.

Thanks

Hi

We have had a really good week.

At Cockfield we have poured the concrete to the chemical bunds. These will be ready to strip on Monday.

Ramshaw - Continuing works to the backwsh tank and we are about to start work on the bunds next week. The slab for the deep bed filter is now in place.

Butterknowle - Success !!!! the water main is now connected. I am sure you will all be pleased to have the road open again. Sorry for the time its taken. Became a bit of a problematic job in the end. We have also installed the pumping station. In addition our site set up is now in place. Now that the drier weather is here we will clean up the track a bit so please bear with us.

Enjoy the weekend

Hi, Good to see the weather warming up again. It is helping us to start progressing again.

Progress this week -

Cockfield  - we are now in a position to start setting up the walls to the chemical bund now that the base has been concreted. We have other smaller operations on going. Traffic on and off site is minimal but still be careful when driving past.

Ramshaw - The attached photos show we are progressing well and ready to start pouring concrete. Traffic will be minimal during this period. We are however going to move a cabin from Ramshaw across to Butterknowle. Please bear with us as we will need to stop the traffic for a short period while we do this.

Butterknowle has thawed out quite a bit over the last week. This has caused the track to the works to have a bit of surface mud. We are managing this the best we can at present.

The testing to the water main is going well. We are now in a position to close it down and get the traffic lights removed early next week.

The work to the pumping station has had an interesting start. Now making good progress.

Enjoy your week.

Many Thanks

Martin

Hello everyone; it has been a very cold week this week. The weather has stopped us from pouring concrete but we have still managed to progress areas. Cockfield is on programme. At Ramshaw there will be a slight increase in traffic movement for the next few months as we push on. Butterknowle will also start to see an increase in traffic movements as we are about to start the pumping station there. We will keep you informed with progress on the water main. We are pushing to clear next week still but the weather is not on our side.  Have a good weekend.

Hello everyone we have an update on the traffic lights at the Butterknowle site:

Good afternoon. Just to give you an update on the works currently being carried out on the highway at Butterknowle

It has been a difficult job due to the ground conditions in the area but the installation of the main is complete however we are unable to carry out the connection in the highway until testing and sampling has been carried out.

We are trying our best to have the hole backfilled and lights removed by Saturday 9th February.  Will keep you updated

Many thanks everyone
